We (me and my mom) have been sorting the house and today was the turn of Harrys toys to be sorted, 4 big bags full later,

Im chuffed, feels so good to get rid of so much, 90% of it was broken and junk anyway. Were now left with just the things he actualy plays with.
Although the title says out with the old, there definately wont be any in with the new, no new toys coming back into the house for a while now!!
Tomorrow will be the turn of Harry's wardrobe and extensive shoe&hat collection!

Oh god we always seem to just accumulate so much junk and clutter and I don't know how! we Have a massive cabinet in our room that we got from a second hand furniture shop, and the top is full of photos of Jared, cups & figures we've bought each other etc, and the end is space for Jared's messy mat, paint, crayons etc, the shelves are full of dvd's, the bottom shelf is wider and has some of Jared's bigger toys on, then there's a cupboard literally full of books and cd's which aren't even all of our collection, we've just stuffed in as much as possible! We had a clearout of it a few months ago, might have another go to be honest...
ReplyDeleteWe gave a big bag full of Jared's old clothes and toys to charity last week, we give so much away! xx
so do we, just comes from no where. we have a alcove that we put doors on that houses all Gareths many millions of DVDs and trinkets, we need to tackle that next, just haven't got the heart just way too much in it and we can shut the doors on it at the moment so out of sight out of mind tactics lol x we give lots away to the charity shops too but this lot was good for nothing but the recycling bin as it was 90% broken :( x
