Hiya all,

2012 has been a brilliant year for me, i started my blog back in January, and have loved being in the blogging/twitter community making friends with lovelies that i would never have met otherwise.

I thought i would do a round up of my year of blogs all in one post:-

On January 16th i started my blog, i don't no what got me back into blogging but im so glad i took the plunge and jumped in with both feet, my 1st post was 'hello out there' i then went onto tell you all Harrys birth story. and his love for his manky blankie. Finishing the month off with my quest get back my maternity records.

ITS CHRISTMASSSS. . .

Well it was a few days ago but as you might of guessed this post will be littered with pics of Christmas day :)

Christmas started in the early hours for our house, well for me and Gareth anyway, we were so excited waking every hour near enough like big kids, too excited to see harry open his presents.

Harry finally woke at about half 7 but we didn't end up getting up until half 8 as he was happy to just lay and watch TV.

At 8:30, me and harry went into my moms room and jumped on her bed shouting 'its christmassss' she was as excited as us to see Harry's little face.

We went downstairs all wearing our christmas jumpers, (apart from harry who spent the whole day in pjs!) to a mountain of presents, harry did 'oh wow' and just sat down infront of his presents.

We had to say, 'you can open them harry' before he would start, and that was it, he was off, tackling the pile.

He was very ordered and opened them up, took time to look and then made a neat pile of them next to him.

Me, Gareth and my mom and dad loved seeing him open all his new things. Even if we all look rather tired in all the pictures!

He loved his new arm chair and once he had opened the presents that were sat in it he was in it himself with his feet up.

gareths photo taking skills! he will always get a picture with me either about to talk or just as im going to laugh, resulting in me looking VERY odd!
A few hours later, everything had been opened and my brother came around. Then as he was leaving, my sister, her husband and my nieces came round with yet more presents.
Then my oldest niece and her boyfriend came, again more presents. One being a face painting set for harry, so right away he and my niece got painted by my sister.
My very own tiger!
Once everyone had left, it was dinner time, but Harry had other ideas.

While harry was napping we enjoyed our Christmas dinner.

The afternoon was very chilled, just watching tv and getting battery's fitted in Harry's new toys.

Night time was filled with chocolate and junk food, over all a brilliant family day. Im not going to post exactly what harry recieved for christmas, as that would be boring, he had a bit of everything from jigsaws to tablets and everything in between!

Boxing day was spent visiting Gareth's family, getting more presents and then seeing my brother his wife and my 2 nieces before they head off to Las Vegas for there friends wedding and new year (which they have gone today! lucky buggers)

hope you all had a equally fabulous time this Christmas

Our Christmas Eve. .

Hiya all,

Hope you have all had an amazing Christmas and are enjoying lots of fun family time. We had a brilliant time, sadly Gareth is back at work today :( so i thought i would share with you our Christmas time, starting with Christmas Eve.

This Christmas Eve Gareth was working. So when he finished work i picked him up right away to head home to let the fun begin.

Its a tradition in our house to have pork & stuffing sandwich's on xmas eve, this year i didnt fancy any but Gareth made short work of these beauty's.

Another tradition of ours is having our presents (mine and gareths) christmas eve, it stems from when we were younger and spending christmas day with our own familys. our christmas was always christmas eve.

We always lay them out for each other and have our cards then too.

Yes thats a one direction CD dont judge me lol.
(bit of a running joke with Gareth!)

I got some lovely things from my garethy, he knows me well. Hes also buying me a chest of draws from ikea, how rock and roll are we? but we will get them next week when everythings a bit less manic

We then got harry ready for a bath, and into his Christmas eve pjs. Yet again, another tradition that my family have done ever since i can remember. I didnt get any this year - Sad times!

As Harry is now old enough to understand about father christmas and his coming christmas eve with presents etc, we thought it would be nice if we got him a little something christmas eve, a book with father christmas in it and a santa key as we dont have a chimney (well we do but its blocked up at the bottom.

It was then ready for Harrys bedtime, but not before laying out some snacks for Father Christmas and the reindeer's. Traditional, home made mince pie, carrot and milk all ready for him.

Once the little man was in bed, me and gareth set to placing out all his presents. I forgot how much we had actually brought. My mom&dad had brought him a leather arm chair and footstool so Gareth put the legs on it ready for Harry to get up and see it the next day.

These were just from me and gareth and a couple from his friends, he doesnt have his presents from gareths side of the family until boxing day. My family brought there presents to him on Christmas day. He did very well, im so very grateful to all my lovely friends and family who think the world of him.

When we had finished we sat down watched a bit of tv had a little drink and ate some choccys then off to bed we went, me and gareth both coulnt sleep with excitement, not to see what he had, but to see Harry's face when he realised Father Christmas had been and brought him lots of special presents.

This year its been extra special with Harry knowing more and telling us what he would like for christmas, we could make sure he had everything he could ever wish for, and i so proud of Gareth working all hours god sends to be able to afford to spoil our little man. So rewarding.

Tomorrow il write up our christmas day post with lots more piccys.

Do you have any christmas eve traditions?
