So its Valentines Day incase you been under a rock for a few weeks and hadt noticed :)
Were not real fans of it all in our house, me and Gareth get cards and a silly something but thats about it.
This year i got a lovely surprise of a moonpig card through the post. (last week not today he forgot to write the 'do not open' bit on the envelope)
It made my day to be honest!
He did however get the year wrong, only 2 years out (2004) but hey, who cares. The fact it had 'found love on lyng field', made my heart melt. Yes we met on a field, we're classy you see!
Even lovelier was the inside, he had written his own words which were beautiful.
He then posted this on his facebook:-
I bloody love him. Bang goes the healhy eating.
He also got me a box of chocs and send me another card, again from moonpig, to say thank you for looking after him when he was ill with nuro virus, now I've been blogging for just over a year and i think you all know my name, Lucy. Well my lovely partner, we have been together nearly 9years doesnt it seems!!
Whoever Shirley is il never no, but apparently, shes the best! I do wonder if shirley got a 'thank you lucy' card? (the inside was fine and had my actual name in it, he says he didnt see that the front needed editing)
anyway, he did mean well bless him.
